Aminu Mai
Navy Captain Aminu Mai is a Naval Helicopter Pilot and currently the Nigerian Naval Attache to the United Kingdom. He plays off -1 handicap and has played various tournaments across the United Kingdom and Nigeria. He pick up the mallet in 2017 and has never looked back. He was also instrumental to the establishment of the Nigerian Navy Polo Team in 2021 which he led to win various tournaments in Nigeria. He is looking forward to gallop to victory in his first Lux Afrique Polo Tournament.
Molawa Adesuyi
Molawa Adesuyi was recently named on the Forbes 30 under 30 Europe list. He plays his polo off - 1 handicap. He has now started his own polo team called Fortitude Polo with his business partner Chime. Fortitude Polo owns 4 amazing polo ponies named Kaduna, Nairobi, Zaria and Delta. His mission is to make polo more accessible to more people from minority backgrounds.
Don Gibbs
Don Gibbs will be flying the flag for Jamaica. Having watched and enjoyed the exhilaration of the Cartier International Polo Day over many years, it became inevitable and perhaps, necessary that he would pick up the mallet. He has been playing competitive polo tournaments up to 8 goals across the UK, Carribean & Europe since 2019. Don is the patron for TIMB-PLY polo team who were most recently winners of the National UK 4 Goal Victor Ludorum tournament for the last 2 years back to back.
