A native of Washington, DC, and is a US based Fashion Designer! His hobbies include polo, golf, skiing, and chess. An author of two books. Because It’s His Day Too “Groom Love Stories” and “Peace Over Everything!” He also curates luxury events, such as Atlanta Fashion and Polo Classic, The Black Tie Experience, Soul Symphony and Celebrity Fight Night. As founder of Ride to the Olympics Foundation, he’s helped to expose thousands of underprivileged kids to horses and polo. The foundation founded the first HBCU polo team at Morehouse College and the first all Black High School team at Best Academy in Atlanta, Ga. As a Fashion Designer, his clients range from Akon, 2 Chainz, Greg Louganis, Wes Moore, TD Jakes, Jeezy and many more. He has locations in Atlanta, DC, Miami and NY. Reggie Akingbade
Tarek started playing polo at university, which later become a fervent passion for him and allowed him to progress to gain a 2-goal grass handicap and 4-goal arena handicap. Training young horses introduced a new dimension to the sport for someone without a traditional riding background and allowed him to build a spring of horses to play the game competitively and improve.
