Noah Dabney
My name is Noah Dabney, a Richmond, Virginia native and sophomore at Virginia Union University studying Business. I’ve been playing horse polo for four years, after starting in hunter jumpers at age six and discovering my passion for polo at Roseland Polo in Crozet, VA. I competed for two years on the UVA Juniors Varsity team, earned several NYTS awards, and have played internationally in Dubai and Jamaica. Back in the U.S., I continue to compete in Celebrity Polo Matches while training hard to elevate my game. When I’m not riding, I’m practicing swings on my OneWheel or Unicycle, driven by my passion to grow and inspire others to explore equestrian sports.
Theo Bell
Theo Amari Bell, 23, is a Master’s student in Public Health at Warwick University and a proud second-generation Black Briton with Caribbean heritage and Nigerian-Ghanaian roots. A passionate polo player, Theo has competed across the West Midlands and South West England during the last 7 years. This is his third Lux Afrique Polo Day, and he looks forward to a day of sport, culture, and connection.
Luc Trafford
Luc ‘Loco’ Trafford has been playing polo for 8 years and has been fortunate enough to play across the globe in countries like Argentina, Spain and the U.K. He’s played for a variety of teams such as Serefina, Bandidos and Oxford University but counts Luxe Afrique as his favourite in the calendar. He’s back this year keen to retain his title of Top Goalscorer.

A native of Washington, DC, and is a US based Fashion Designer! His hobbies include polo, golf, skiing, and chess. An author of two books. Because It’s His Day Too “Groom Love Stories” and “Peace Over Everything!” He also curates luxury events, such as Atlanta Fashion and Polo Classic, The Black Tie Experience, Soul Symphony and Celebrity Fight Night. As founder of Ride to the Olympics Foundation, he’s helped to expose thousands of underprivileged kids to horses and polo. The foundation founded the first HBCU polo team at Morehouse College and the first all Black High School team at Best Academy in Atlanta, Ga. As a Fashion Designer, his clients range from Akon, 2 Chainz, Greg Louganis, Wes Moore, TD Jakes, Jeezy and many more. He has locations in Atlanta, DC, Miami and NY. Miguel Wilson Collection is the most sought after brand for wedding attire for men.
