A very lucky someone will soon be joining Billionaire art collector David Nahmadin in the privileged club of Picasso owners. When “Nature Morte” a charmingly simple oil on canvas that Pablo Picasso painted in 1921 and held by Nahmadin is raffled off for charity this March 30. Tickets are sold online for $113 each.

The raffle draw is being held in Paris. Organizers Péri Cochin, a television producer, and Arabelle Reille, an art historian, intend to sell 200,000 tickets, raising millions to provide water for villagers in Cameroon, Madagascar, and Morocco.

Nigerian auto manufacturing company JET Motor Comp

Nigerian auto manufacturing company JET Motor Company has been working on vehicles with the best specifications for the African and Nigerian environment.

Some of the earliest outputs of the company’s effort are the JET EV Africa's first all-electric vehicle, and the JET Mover, a durable, luxury, yet affordable minibus built specifically for African roads, after about three years of research, testing and iterative development.

The company is already expanding into an assembly plant in Lagos that is over 2 acres to meet demand. By the second quarter of 2020, the assembly plant is expected to attain a capacity of 5,000 vehicles annually.

Recently art buyers spent Sh22.5 million at the Ar

Recently art buyers spent Sh22.5 million at the Art Auction East Africa in Nairobi. The sale is nearly three-quarters of the artworks snapped up, the amount was less than last year when an unprecedented bidding war between two telephone callers resulted in one original E.S. Tingatinga painting selling for more than Sh6 million, jacking up last year’s total sales.

The highest sale was Yony Waite’s ‘Beyond Lukenya Mountains’ which went for Sh1.35 million.
According to Knight Frank’s Luxury Investment report,
